2010 wrap-up

It seems crazy that it is already 2011! I am never very good about making resolutions (or keeping the ones I do make) but a new year always makes me think back over the last year and we were busy in 2010. So, since I am obviously bad at updating regularly, I am going to make a list (work to my strengths right?!) of big things from the last year .

• the first big one that comes to mind is that Dan graduated!!! The day we had been waiting for for soooo long!
• Dan got a new "adult" job and has been working there for 6 months already
• we moved out of our "home" of 3 1/2 years, moved into Dan's parents home, and finally into our own! We LOVE LOVE LOVE our house!
• I graduated (and am so done with school ... for now)
• We got to spend a lot of time with family. Including flying to AZ for my dad's 50th birthday, going on family trips to CA and AZ, hosting murder mystery parties, sending off a missionary, and tons more.
• I got in 3 car accidents (I hope not to repeat this one in the new year!)
• bought a new car - love my "Maroon Lizard"
• tried our hands at decorating a big empty house (with lots of help)
• Celebrated our 4th anniversary! Super mushy, but we are so much more in love! We get closer everyday and I couldn't ask for a better husband.
  

Obviously I can't list every thing but all in all I think we had a pretty good year. As strange as it is to no longer be students (I don't quite feel ready to call ourselves adults) we couldn't be happier with where we are in life right now. I can't wait to see what the new year has in store. It is the first time that we haven't had one big thing (school) overwhelming our lives and we finally get to just enjoy the ride and decide what we want to do with life next! I know I am late but Happy New year!
