Early Birthday Present

For my birthday Dan bought me A TON of flowers from Home Depot and spent 5 hours planting with me today. He is the best ever! My Grandma had given me some ideas of what to plant so we got Petunias, Pansies, and Marigolds. The Marigolds remind me of my mom and her teaching me to "dead head" everything!

I just love all the different colors!

It took us forever to decide where to put each color. I did the bottom layer....

and Dan did the top. He is so cute!
















Dan was worried that he didn't buy me enough but we had so many that we did the whole front yard and even had enough to do the back! This used to be all one slope but we terraced it out today and now it is so much better. I even had a flower left to put in a pot (you can see it in the corner).






Here is the finished product. I hope I can keep it looking this good!













Aww! Only five hours later we have a whole new yard. It was such a good present, I will think of it every time I go outside!
