Spring Vacations

I've actually had people ask what we have been up to and why we haven't posted in a while so here is a quick update.

We got to go to Pinetop Az for a week and visit with my family. We stayed in this really cute cabin. It was fun to be able to get to know my family better!

We got to go see the Snowflake temple. The grounds are really natural and really pretty.

After our trip to AZ we stopped in LV . We got to see a bunch of Dan's best friends from high school. I learned a lot about his "adventures" when he was younger. We also hung out with his aunt and uncle and I just can't resist putting up a picture of his cousin Natalie. I would take her home with us in a heartbeat!

We went to this pinball museum and you can actually play the games. All the money is donated to charity. I had never played pinball before and I have to say I wasn't very good. My favorites were the really old baseball machines.

Now we are back in Provo and Dan has started his class. I made him take a picture on his first day of school and he humored me.

Dan obviously has to spend a lot of time on projects and so I am finding ways to entertain myself. I've gotten to do a lot of reading which I love. It feels like it's been forever since I read for enjoyment. I'm slowly running out of books though so I need some suggesttions. Recently I've read A Tale of Two Cities, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Picture of Dorian Grey, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and I'm almost finished with Crime and Punishment. Up next is Madame Bovary and I think I want to try Les Miserables after that. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them! We've finished our second tutorial at work. You can see it at http://net.lib.byu.edu/tutorial/subjectpages/menu. It's about doing research on the library subject pages so it isn't all that thrilling but we did the best we could with the subject matter. I love the job despite the setbacks we've had. A lot of you have asked about our garden and I am proud to say that not only is it not dead, but it is growing really well even after a weeks absence. Well, I think that is all for today!

You should read 'The Book Thief' - it's about a little girl growing up during WWII in Germany. I liked it a lot.
