Animal Weekend

I know I just posted but I figure if I keep on top of it, I'll be able to remember more of what we did. We were able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend at Farm Country and the Zoo.

We ran some errands Friday and went to Farm Country. Camden has ridden the ponies a ton but for some reason this time he was nervous. He wouldn't let go of Dan's arm the whole time. He doesn't even care that much about the animals but heads straight for the "trailer" ride. I didn't even think about it before we went, but the smell at the farm was wayyy to much for me right now. I couldn't even get close to the animals and had to completely skip the chickens. They smelled so bad!
At least he looks like he's having fun.
On Saturday, we did some much needed cleaning up and then went up to the Hogle Zoo for Dan's work party. Although they close the zoo to non employees, L3 is big enough that it was still pretty packed. We had to wait about 30 minutes to ride the train but Camden thought it was totally worth it.
If you zoom in on this picture you can see his crazy excited face.

All of the animals were out and pretty active since it was cool and a little later in the day. We even saw the snow leopards, leopard, and brown bears. Zoos make me feel a little sad for the animals, but this one is trying to make their exhibits much better for the animals.  We had to wait a while for the carousel too, but they gave us vouchers for free ice cream or cotton candy and that made the wait more bearable.
He loves carousels and I love that Dan will take him. It makes me so dizzy!
We've been telling knock knock jokes lately and Camden loves it. He even makes up his own! Guess which one is his:
