Fall

Fall is here! Preschool is going really well. Camden only had one rough day when Makayla got sick and he found out she wouldn't be there and he couldn't go over after school. He was pretty disappointed and wanted to stay home but I made him go and the teachers held his hand and walked him in while he cried. It was actually pretty tough for me because I thought we were doing so well.

Wes is talking a lot more. He had his 18 mo appointment a few days ago and cried through the whole thing. He doesn't like strangers to look at him. He is still 90th percentile in weight and doing well on all his milestones.  It is so fun to see his little personality emerging more. He's making good use of the words more, car, and show.

Both boys have been kind of hit or miss on rough days. One day they'll both wake up smiley and cute as can be and then the next will be tantrums from the moment they step into my room. Usually the tantrums are because dad isn't there, or Wes wants to stay soaking instead of being changed, or because they were too close to each other. You know, things I can't control. Usually, they are best buds though and I love catching their little moments.

As I was saving all the pictures to the computer from my phone, I somehow managed to accidentally delete over 200 pictures. I was pretty upset and Dan did some research and was able to recover a good chunk of them. It is just so hard to see the bright spots in our days sometimes and when I actually capture them, they're pretty important for me to save.

1st day! He was so excited!
Dan's work had a party at Lagoon and the boys were in heaven. Camden rode every ride without hesitation. Dan's dreams were coming true roller coaster by roller coaster. Wes wanted to ride everything and then didn't enjoy it quite as much once the ride was moving. In his defense, they went really fast for how little he is.

Mom sat this one out

The Bat was one of his favorites

I've been enjoying the routine preschool gives along with the "free" days we have. Usually on Tuesday and Thursday we play Legos first thing in the morning for a few hours and then get dressed and proceed with the rest of our day. We spend a lot of time on walks and outside with neighbor kids.
Go team!

His first full day he had no qualms saying good bye. After, he said "it was still a short day"

Making and flying their space ships

I'm never alone!

Camden does an online preschool class 15 minutes a day  5 days a week and Wes is incredibly jealous.

Wesley loves helping cook

He also loves coloring which will be super fun once boundaries are more established!

Dad and Julie came and this is the only picture I took. They're looking at cats.

Busting out the Halloween decor and vampire teeth

Clean babies!

Excited for his costume hat and to spray me with poison

You'd never know this goof just got four shots

taste testing the frosting

Crunching leaves

We are pretty excited for the upcoming holidays. Almost everyone's costumes are done! Camden says daily that he can't wait to carve pumpkins and go trick or treating. I'm curious to see if Wes participates or is too shy. I think the candy will win.

Dan and I had our first date 11 years ago this weekend and I can't believe how weird time is. It's so fast and so slow! He is the best teammate I could ask for and we are pretty lucky to have the awesome little family.

I was hungry for more pictures of the boys so decided to see if you had updated your blog--and you had!!! So sad you lost some of the pictures, but you share so many great ones.
