November

We have been busy! Dan had a winter camp out this weekend and drying his tent inside has made our house smell like a camp fire. At least it's cold enough outside that we wouldn't mind having a camp fire around right now. It smells a little wintry : )

Here is one more from Halloween

Just chilling with a chocolate face

"Hiding" in my shirt
Visiting the Dinosaur Museum
Camden had been helping me get baby brother's room ready. He even has some suggestions for names including Little Puppy, Kitty Cat, Charlie (like the dog in the story), Enzo, and just baby brother.
Testing out the crib

All the little clothes out!
Making shape cookies

Functional bathroom!

We took some donuts to Grandma Sherri's class for her birthday. Don't these two look so old!
We had beautiful weather for so long that it doesn't seem like it should be snowing already but I guess it is mid November. It hasn't stuck around too much but it won't be long before we're covered.
1st snow. Camden LOVED it

As soon as he woke up he needed to look out to see if the snow was still there
The cold weather has gotten me in the mood for the holidays! We are halfway done with shopping (and some wrapping) and we decided to set up Christmas decor next weekend so that it can be all ready when we get home after Thanksgiving.
Lego Christmas tree

Hanging out with baby
The outlets have a huge (the tallest in Utah) live Christmas tree. They do a lighting ceremony and Camden was so amazed by the tree last year that we decided to stop by. We thought they would like the tree right at six but apparently they do a whole program before the lighting. We got some Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory hot chocolate and did some shopping (I'm sure that's their plan). They finally lit the tree around 7:15 and Camden was so excited. They brought Santa out to do the countdown and the tree was purple and sparkled. After they lit the tree they did fireworks! It was pretty cold but Camden had a blast and it was fun to watch his reactions to everything.
Watching fireworks

Family shot
Camden is much more interested in sports and playing soccer and basketball. He was very excited to watch a bit of the Colts tonight and even told Dad he was in the way of the game once!

We only have a week and a half until we get to go down to AZ!

We love the photos! It would have been a lot of fun to watch Camden's excitement during the tree-lighting ceremony, but we're excited to know that you'll be down here next week!
