A couple of people have mentioned to me how awesome it is that Camden and I do so many fun things. While I do try to be an engaging mom who accomplishes something, that's usually more rare than it is common. We have a lot of lazy days where we stay in our pj's all day and don't really get anything done. I enjoy the days where I just snuggle with Camden but I also feel that I could have done more. For example, the only thing I needed to do yesterday was go to the grocery store and buy milk. I didn't get that done until today :) My measure of a successful has really changed now that I stay at home. Mostly, if we are happy, we are all fed in some manner, and if the house isn't disgusting than we were successful. I usually have one day a week were I was ridiculously lazy and one day where I was super productive but most days fall somewhere in between. Basically, this blog is all the highlights from our week/however long it takes me to blog. I always have an undone to do list and some goals for our family but for the most part I try to just enjoy moment to moment! On that note, here are the pictures from the last week.
Last Monday, we had a football themed FHE. We talked a little about what happens in football and how the pads and helmet keep players safe. We tied it in talking about what keeps us safe (Mom, dad, God, etc.). It was a little on the fly but the internet really helps with my procrastination. We finished by watching the football game.

He loved his football bowl at least |

This was a lazy day but we did get outside for a couple of minutes! |
Wednesday, we had "school" with Krista and Makayla. Camden still has little interest in art/crafts so it goes pretty quickly. We joined Shauna at the gardens for story time which Camden was only mildly interested in. Camden had been asking to go to a restaurant and have french fries for a while so after our walk we decided to stop at the cute restaurant there and eat. I was a little nervous about having lunch basically by myself, but Camden was actually really polite and engaged in conversation with me. It was super fun and it might happen more often now!

Saying "cheese bread" |
Another couple of lazy days and Camden used the time to perfect his skills.

New tricks |
We picked my dad up from the airport Friday night and I neglected to take a single picture! I'm the worst. Camden loved it though. He had been talking about making pancakes with grandpa for days and he got to make both real and imaginary ones. My dad played barbies, kitty cat, and Legos for as long as Camden wanted. My dad even watched Camden so we could go get my blood test done. It was a nice mini date :) My grandma and Jared and Cate came down to dinner and it was nice to play games and hang out with everyone.
Yesterday was my super lazy day. Surprisingly, I take a lot of pictures those days because we are just chilling.

Best friends |
|
I tried to get a kiss but he only went half way and then stopped to look at puppy again |
We finally took down Camden's high chair and I can't get over how big he is getting. Almost all his baby things are gone.
|
Of course right after this picture he asked to sit on my lap and have me feed him |
|
Another ponytail |
We are working on some independence so as often as he will, I let Camden pick his outfit. It was a winner today!
|
He put his shorts on all by himself |
Our friend broke his hand so we made him a get well card. Camden actually colored!
|
I think markers are the key |
Anyway, there are the "highlights" of this week. Just three more until we get to know the gender of the baby! I'm starting to feel movement and it's pretty exciting!

It was wonderful to spend the weekend at your house. Your blog post ties in perfectly with that new Mormon.org video about "to do" lists. Seems to me that you are taking care of the most important things each day!
Love, love, love the pictures as usual. Your blog is always so interesting. Sorry I missed the pancakes and Barbies this time!
