Basement: Before

Our next big project is finishing the basement. It isn't really fair for me to call this my project yet since Dan (with help from family) is the one doing the hard work up front. My part doesn't come in until the organizing and decorating!

I did help with the emptying though. Now we look  like hoarders!

I took tons of before pictures in anticipation of the after. It will be so nice when it's done!

After the bathroom, there will be a big open craft room. (Yes, Dan is teasing Camden here.)

I am more nervous about this project than Dan is but we are both excited for it to get done! We weren't quite planning on starting yet but we found out Dan's Grandad was coming up for a week and Dan jumped at the chance for some help. Actually, Dan's Grandad and Dad are banging away in the basement as I type this. They were just too excited to wait until Dan got home at six tonight! Hopefully I'll have some in progress pictures and some afters before the end of the year!
