This past week Camden has been sick with a cold. I think having a kid with a cold is worse than having a cold yourself because they are miserable but they don't want you to do any of the things that will help make them feel better so you are then miserable and frustrated! To illustrate my point, in this disgusting picture, Camden's nose was completely blocked and he threw a major fit when I tried to help him breath. How dare I!
Basically on sick weeks Camden gets anything he wants (with in reason) so that we both have the sanity to get through the day and so that his constant crying doesn't make the snot/phlegm issue worse. He loves our computers and was delighted to have them both.
Lately Camden loves water so we bought him this cute water table but it was too cold outside for a sicky so I set it up in the tub for a few days.
It warmed up one afternoon but I couldn't get both Camden and the table down stairs safely so I improvised.

We might have wasted money on an actual toy |

He's asking for "mo" water (one of his new favorite words) |
He did get to enjoy his table outside this weekend but it is still too chilly for my tastes. Especially since it snowed this morning!
I added some art work to the bathroom and I think we are pretty much done in there now. Maybe a rug or something though.
Camden is getting to be such a little boy instead of a baby! He talks all the time and is starting to say some phrases like "mo cruck," "mo bot" etc. He is finally trusted enough to eat most things on his own (He still can't do goldfish though, no portion control)

Loving his "fru" |
He is finally off his binky. He's only ever had it to sleep or church so it wasn't too big of a deal but since he's been sick he'll just chew on it a bit and throw it aside. I worry about causing ear infections when he is sick so I wanted to just get rid of it. He's been fussing a little to go to sleep so I figured if he's crying anyway I might as well make it productive! I took it a couple of days ago and he hasn't even missed it. He did find a new puppy to sleep with (now he has two) so I guess he made up for the loss. The new puppy is my 101 Dalmatian from my 10th birthday which is surprisingly in great condition. It is so cute to see him hugging his two puppies to sleep. Next up is the bottle (hopefully by 18 months) but he asks for it now so I think it's going to be a harder transition. Lately Camden is really expressive and he makes some adorable faces. All his thoughts show on his face and his movements are so exaggerated!

Wondering why I'm taking a picture! |
He moves so much now that I end up doing more videos so I'll try to be better about adding those.
You'll have to forgive the snot in this video. He was sick!

That was worth waiting for, Nicole. He is so adorable, and becoming so expressive in his words and expressions. Love this technology.
Thank you for updating your blog so much! It is so fun to see how Camden is growing up. I hope he is feeling better now.
And your bathroom looks great, too!
I believe this is my 3rd time watching this video. I love to watch his face, and of coarse hear his little voice. precious. you were very cleaver mommy to let him watch his self.
