It's the 22nd of January and I have already taken 211 pictures (almost exclusively of Camden). I know it's a lot, possibly obsessive but here are my reasons why it is acceptable:
1. Camden is the cutest baby alive.
2. He does at least five cute things an hour so I am really being very selective.
3. Dan wants to know what happens when he is gone at work all day.
4. Camden is the cutest baby alive.
5. It takes six decent pictures to get one really good one (I don't have the heart to delete them!)
6. He is learning new things all the time so I have to take a picture of the firsts.
7. Camden is the cutest baby alive (it would just be wrong not to document this much cuteness for the world.)
Now for an admission of guilt - I stopped at number four to take this picture:

He LOVES his puppy |
Why am I telling you this? So that when you see the multitude of pictures that follow you will know that I am attempting to keep it under control.

Documenting one year old! |
We do have other things going on in our lives but nothing photograph worthy. But for those few of you who want to know about something other than Camden (if there is such a person), I started reviewing children's books for the HBLL. I made a terribly small commitment but might up it as I get back into the swing of writing. They publish the review in an online publication that I don't remember the name of right now. Basically it is something to keep me productive and to put on my resume when I eventually decide to go back to a job (I'd say work but I'm already working!). Dan and I set some resolutions including scripture reading (the only one we've been better at), working out (I set a pretty low bar and we still have yet to make any progress), and stressing less (this one is for me). I really want to start remembering the positives more often. Dan is doing really well at work and hasn't found any down time yet. He is getting ready to start his last year in his twenties and isn't nearly as anxious as I will be when I get there. We are looking forward to temps back in the double digits sometime soon and maybe a black top to drive on again instead of a solid sheet of ice (I know I am a "warm body" but I am not exaggerating AT ALL here)! That's pretty much it for now. I'll leave you with this video of a happier walker!

You forgot one reason: Camden is the cutest baby alive!
Great photos, as usual. Thanks for including the video And thanks for updating us on non-Camden things, too. Sounds like you and Dan have set goals in some important areas.
Doing children's book reviews sounds like a great project.
Wow! He really is the cutest baby alive! :)
I'll third that--or fourth that. He is adorable and I love that you post so many pictures (and the video). Reviewing children's book is a perfect fit for you right now. Looking forward to seeing you on the 8th. Love, Grandma K.
He is so cute and growing so fast. I am glad you are finding ways to stay in the loop. Reviewing children's books sounds like fun. I want to do that too. Thanks for sharing with us and we love being able to share in all his little adventures.
