While in AZ we celebrated my mom and sister's birthdays and got in just enough summer to make me less grouchy for the Utah arrival of Fall. We hung out with family a lot which I love. We played games, watched my littlest sister's newest obsession "Sherlock," swam, and helped out in the tiniest primary ever! My mom loves to cook and is good at it and I gained more than my 1lb/week. I'm pretty sure I gained enough to last for the rest of the month!

One nice thing about driving instead of flying is that we have room to bring stuff back! Dan probably doesn't love this as much but I think we made out like bandits! My step-brother's girlfriend gave us all of her moms beautiful china (like 16 place settings) and I can't wait to have the next dinner party. I also took home all of the Barbies that were still being stored at my moms. I know I am having a boy but I couldn't bear the thought of all those Barbies being thrown away and since we have an empty basement I figured I could store them! I cleaned everything and they are nicely stored for the first girl born in my family, or for babysitting my nieces! There is never enough time even on vacation and I always leave wishing we got to see more people but it was really relaxing and a much needed break.
Now that we are home we are full swing into our "projects." Dan has made tons of progress on our yard (I'll take a pic when I find my camera!) and I am starting on some odds and ends. As you can see I am getting huge so I made some maternity stuff (and was given some adorable shirts from a fantastic friend!) as well as some nursery stuff. We all know that I am not the most excited person when it comes to pregnancy and birth (I almost couldn't type that one!) but I am trying to come around to it. Dan is helping me get more excited for baby things and I think by the time this kid comes I just might be ready for the idea of having a baby! It helps to have wonderful friends and family who are so excited for me.
That was kind of soul bearing and yucky so I promise never to do it again :)
And I promise to put up pictures as soon as I find my camera!
