Pictures!

What could they be doing with snow shovels in the middle of summer? We found a snake! While they were trying to catch it (I wouldn't let them use their hands) it slithered away under our porch! I have only seen it once after that but Ewww! I can't go outside without checking around for it first.

My Mom gave me a bunch of terra cotta pots when we visited her and Dan helped me fill them! I liked all of the flowers Home Depot had and I bought way to many. There are dahlias, ranunculas, violets, impatiens, and so many more! I love that things are actually growing!

The bulbs my Grandma gave me are also blooming. I wish Utah looked like this all year round!

On my birthday, I worked a half day and my students were so nice to help me celebrate with a big banner and wayyyyy too much food. After work, Dan and I went out to eat with Sherri and Krista. It was so nice to visit with them, they make me feel like I do have family here and I don't miss mine quite as much. We went home and Dan surprised me with gifts and dinner. He spoils me! We went to the Melting Pot.This isn't exactly our dinner (I forgot my camera again) but basically we ate this much! We had a fantastic four course meal and by the end I totally could have fallen asleep in the booth! I am so glad we have some time to hang out this summer before Dan gets back into classes!
