We had a wonderful holiday! Both boys were so excited for each fun thing we did and it was fun to see Camden understand the reason for the season better. We were able to spend a lot of time together with Dan home from work. It was such a great Christmas!
I was doing my best to hold off until after Thanksgiving to decorate but Camden begged and begged and I wasn't that hard to convince!

Happy Helpers |
If one boy gets snuggles, the other one does too |
Unless one's still asleep! |
The boys were playing with my very old snow globe and it broke. They were pretty bummed so Camden and I made a new one!
I've gotten pretty lax about making monkey and puppy stay upstairs because they are just too cute cuddling their lovies!
turning our table box into whoville |
They get so goofy at bedtime! |
Santa and the Grinch were at our ward Chirstmas party and Camden and Wesley were freaked out by both of them. Even when they walked by to give out a bag of treats, Wes cried. They were ok with the paper Whos though.

Just his size |

Making me pancakes |
For our tenth anniversary this year, Dan and I decided to finally get a bed frame and finish decorating our room so it doesn't look quite so just moved in.
Camden helped prep the walls |
A favorite temporary bench |
All snuggled up! |
Every year, Samta Clause visits the kids at Sherri's and we all get new Christmas jammies. After he changed, Camden asked him "No, but, how DID you get that beard?"
Camden only sat with him because he was pretty sure it was Uncle Sam. |
Attempting an all grand kid shot |
Doing the play mobile advent |
Lego advent! |
Great Grandma Klundt came down to visit and let the boys open their presents early. They loved these bath toys right away and haven't stopped playing since. Wes makes a face and then squeals "ook mama!"
In Whoville |
We tagged along with the youth to see the Draper "Tree of Life" lights
So excited! |
There are so many lights on that tree |
It wasn't too freezing yet! |
Reading Christmas stories |
Wes loves giving Camden hugs |
We had some drama starting our annual Rice Crispie tree decorating but once we started everyone was happier.
Especially when they could eat! |
Freezing cold. Beyond freezing cold! |
Camden is a Utahan though and didn't mind a bit |
Dan's team at work earned a chance to see Rogue One for free and Dan was pretty thrilled.
Loving it! |
Early mornings by the tree |
He is such a goober these days! |
Ready for Christmas! |
They always "help" me do yoga |
Light up laces! that had to be twist tied and taped on because we don't have laces! |
Camden had two weeks off of school so we've been trying to do some reading over the break. We also threw in a few experiments.
Which candy cane melted the fastest |
growing the Grinch's heart |
We finally got around to making Santa's favorite chocolate sugar cookies and Grandma and Grandpa came to help!
No decorating for this kid. All eating. |
Camden was a pro! |
Beautiful cookies! |
On Christmas Eve Wes wasn't feeling great so we made sure he got his nap in while Camden and Dad went ice skating.
He loved it! |
Camden kept saying "If we come down in the morning and these are gone, then we'll know Santa was here." |
Even though Santa obviously came, Camden went right over and checked the cookies and milk first! |
Christmas morning, waiting for mom and dad |
Testing out the bounce house |
So much to see! |
These had to go on immediately! |
The boys had to take a break opening while we went to 9am church but we got back in PJs and picked up right where we left off when we got home.
After more presents at Grandma Davis', Mom took Camden and Ryelle out in the freshly fallen snow.
Wes joined after he saw how fun it was |
All built! He did a lot by himself |
Wesley's balance board |
Dan took the week between Christmas and New Years off, so we tried to do some fun stuff like the Museum of Natural Curiosity. We are going to miss him a lot when he goes back to work tomorrow!
Wes "Seeping" |
Dan took the boys out for a few hours so I could paint our bedroom! |
Happy birthday to our family! |
Dan and I celebrated with a nice dinner and some fun no kids shopping. I can't believe it's been 10 years! |
For New Years Eve, Grandma and Grandpa Davis invited all the grand kids over for a late night party.
The parents hit up Top Golf and got Chinese food.
We picked up Wes and put him to bed around 7:30 and went back to get Camden around 9:30. Camden threw up quite a bit of licorice and fell peacefully asleep. I woke up the next morning around 12:30 and threw up for 5 hours straight! Last night Wes woke up and threw up, too! I'm hoping we've seen the last of it and that Dan will never catch it.
Tomorrow we get to celebrate Camden's birthday!
