We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. The weather in AZ was perfect and we loved spending time with family. We have so much to be thankful for. We have so much wonderful, supportive family, on both sides, who love and spoil us. We are grateful for Dan's job that he enjoys and that allows me to stay home with Camden. We are very grateful for health and for being able to spend more time here as a family. We are grateful for a new baby on the way! We have been so blessed in so many ways and we are especially grateful for the knowledge of the Savior and his plan that helps us through the tough parts of life and helps to realize how blessed we really are.
Camden was so excited to go to AZ we had to pack a couple days in advance (and then unpack toys and repack clothes)

Camden helped fill this suitcase with every travel size bottle he could find and some toys. |
We have driven with Camden to AZ often enough to know not to expect much sleep so we decided to break up the drive down and stop in St. George. We also got some things from the dollar store to help keep him entertained.

The glow stick was a hit |
We made it to AZ on Wednesday and I really don't have too many pictures of Thursday thanksgiving at my dad's or Friday thanksgiving at my moms's. I realized it's because Grandma's and Grandpa's were keeping Camden fully occupied and I could just hang out! He was definitely spoiled with attention and has everyone wrapped around his finger. My siblings got a glimpse of the terrible twos and decided they might wait a few more years before they have kids : )
Dan and I did take Camden to the park one day. Dan is the best Dad ever and helps my timid child with everything at the park.

Dan barely fits down the slide but goes anyway. |

Camden learned to superhero swing |
I loved getting to visit with my family even if it seemed short. We weren't all there all the time but I think we made the most of it.
We went to feed the ducks one day.

We also visited the Temple lights. Dan and I definitely prefer the Mesa lights to the temple square ones. It's much warmer!

This is where our family started |

I love this guy!! |
We decided to do the drive back in one day. It only took 10 hours and 2 stops but we made it! The longest stretch we had where Camden was content in the back with an activity was about 10 minutes. Even during a movie he kept needing something. I just kept thinking that it will be so nice when he and his brother can entertain each other (and fight of course). We decided to not force a nap on Camden and just see if he would fall asleep on his own. Nope! Even after a rough nights sleep he didn't nod off once in the 10 hours. He is a good kid though and just loves hanging out with us too much!
We are glad to be home and excited to get ready for Christmas!
