Vacation Day 3

We had to wake Camden up to go to California Adventure the next day. It opened a little later so we decided to do a character breakfast that morning.

At the Paradise Pier to meet his friends
Camden liked seeing everyone but I think he was a little put off by the fact that they didn't talk to him. He would say Hi or I love you and they would mime something but he seemed kind of confused that they weren't saying anything,

When Daisy came over Minnie was coming a little behind her and after hugging Daisy Camden said "I want Minnie to come now."  Daisy was rightly appalled : )

Minnie is by far Camden's favorite.

But Apple Jacks were still more appealing!

Camden went up to dance with Mickey but Kind of stood there for a bit so Mickey came over to help. Camden pulled away and danced on his own!

We were really excited to have Camden visit Radiator Springs but ended up a little disappointed. It looked very cool but they don't actually have all the Cars at their houses. We'd see Sarge or Fillmore's house and Camden would ask to find them but they were nowhere!
Waiting in line for the tractors:
He had to stay entertained some how.

He loved riding the tractors but as soon as it was over he asked for Mater.

Finally, an actual character!
Camden was getting pretty tired by now and would not give up on seeing Guido and Luigi. I kept explaining that they weren't home.
Waving to us on the bumper tires
We were glad to have my mom with us to help keep Camden occupied in lines. She has more patience for his repeated questioning than I do!
Telling Grandma about where we are
After the seriously slow as molasses "Chew Chew Train," we decided a nap was in order. We took Camden home about noon thinking he'd be asleep in no time. Unfortunately, some tummy troubles kept him up and he finally slept around two. His late nap make Grandma miss the second half of the day and made him very hard to wake up.
This was after he'd been out of bed for about 10 minutes. I asked him if he wanted to go back to sleep or go to Disneyland and he said "go to the beach"
We sadly dropped my mom off at the airport and headed back to the park.
Some ice cream helped wake him up.
We caught the Pixar Parade and Camden had a blast.

We'll call this his face of wonder

Seeing Lightning McQueen
The crowds really weren't too bad and the longest line we waited in was 45 minutes for the Toy Story ride in California Adventure.
Happy at the beginning of the line

Fed up in the middle.

Ready to get on the ride!

An attempt at a family shot
We headed back over to Radiator Springs to see if we could see Lightning and we were lucky enough to get there just before he came out.
Spotting McQueen

When he finally got to meet him he just told him "You say Ka-chow"

Waiting for World of Color

Love him!
World of Color was really cool. Camden laughed the hardest when Wall-E was up. Who would have thought?

Again, Camden fought sleep the whole way home and crashed as soon as his head hit the pillow.
