Easter pt 1

I always forget to get the pictures off Dan's phone. So today we will just do the pics from me. We had an awesome Easter weekend this year.

How could we not have fun with this guy

He wanted to take a nap while I made dinner. If only it lasted.
We started the week off with an Easter FHE. Camden loved opening the eggs and seeing which item about the Resurrection was inside. He understood some and when we did it again during the next day he kept saying "that's so sad" whenever I would read something sad that happened to Jesus. We made these rolls for dessert where the marshmallow disappears inside and represents the empty tomb. We said the marshmallow was Jesus and Camden helped us wrap Him and put Him in the tomb. Dan was threatening to eat some of Camden's and Camden said "Dad, you don't want to eat this because Jesus was in here."

Tearing into his card from Great Grandma. Thank for our card too. He loved both!
Saturday we went to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt with cousins. It was madness! The hunt started at 11 and was over by 11:10. When they started Camden just stared at the massive amount of people.
He finally got into it and had fun
That afternoon we dyed eggs. Dan drew some Monsters Inc. eggs and Camden helped stir them.
Loving Dad!

Counting his finished eggs
We went to dinner that night and although Camden didn't eat anything, he had fun.
Sunday morning Camden came down to see what the Easter bunny left for him.
He was a little spoiled this year but his face was worth it.

He stared until we said "It's for you. You can touch it."
 Then we had our hunt.

Camden loved all the candy but he wouldn't put his suckers down.
Triumph!

Playing with Go Dog.

Ready for church
Camden was supposed to take a nap after church and after about an hour, Dan and I checked the monitor to see him pulling the stuffing out of his pillow and dropping it on the floor. We went in to find a very happy and wide awake kid.
Showing us his hard work.
After "naps" we went to Steve and Sherri's for Easter dinner and another egg hunt!
Cousin love

New bunny glasses
I asked Camden what his favorite part of Easter was and he said "um, candy." So I think he had fun. We are so grateful to have Camden and to celebrate with him. We are more grateful for the Savior and the fact that we can be a family forever and the second chances we have in life. Happy Easter!
