We met with the plastic surgeon on Tuesday and it was pretty weird. My
Dr is really nice but he's much more casual and relaxed than the others.
Probably because his portion of this situation doesn't save my life.
One of the big questions is where to do a bilateral mastectomy or not. I
really do not want to have to go through all this again. I think if I
have to do Chemo and my insurance will cover it then I am just going to
do them both. Of course if my BRCA1 results come back positive (giving
me a 50% chance of relapse) then all the doctors say they would urge me
to do a bilateral. If it comes back negative then I think I will stick
with just the one side for now and see what the pathology report says.
So basically, still no new news yet. I decided to cut my hair though. I
am a little sad it's shorter but I know if I have to do chemo I will be
really glad I already cut it. This isn't the greatest picture ever but you get the idea.
I have been wanting to paint our half bath for a while now and I figured I better do it before surgery. This weekend Dan helped me measure it out and tape it off and then I painted. I really like how it turned out.

You are beautiful--however you wear your hair. I wasn't able to access the video--not sure why, except something about being unplugged.
