I kept thinking that I would wait until something was finally resolved before I posted but it seems like life doesn't want me to feel settled so here is what we have been up to.
First, I forget that I haven't said anything but, Dan and I were encouraged out of his grandpa's house in Provo and have been living with his parents in Lehi for the past month or so. I have to admit that I was a little nervous at first but it has been great. Dan's commute is cut in half and I get to see him a lot more. Plus we love being closer to Salt Lake and a "city" feel. It has helped us feel sure that buying a house in the same area is what we want.
So, you all know about my first car accident. I have been going to physical therapy for about a month and it has really helped. My knee is still swollen a little and hurts after a long day but it is a billion times better. The insurance company decided to total my car (for way less than it is worth) so we are looking for a new car right now. I wish I could find the same exact car I had!
I said my first accident because about 2 weeks after that one I was in another car accident! I was in the rental car still and it was just a fender bender thankfully! Again it wasn't my fault but was just a pain. Hopefully I have had my share of accidents for the rest of the year.
Now on to better news! We are closing on our house this week! (As long as fate doesn't actually hate me). My mom came up for a day a little while ago and I got to take her and my brother through the house. I am so excited to be moved in! Here are some pictures (not fantastic images because I pulled them from the appraisal document but pictures none the less!) but if you want to see more you will have to come visit!
This is the front of the house:
The stairs from the front door:The kitchen (I am soooo excited to have actual counter space!):
This is the family room viewed from the dining nook:
The master bathroom:
Those are the only pictures worth showing. Like I said to see more you will have to come see it! We have 4 bedrooms so there is plenty of room for overnight guests!
A ton more has been going on at work and in life but this is long enough so I will try to update again soon!

That's awesome that you guys are buying a house! It looks amazing! Scary about your car accident. Glad everything is okay. Where is your new house?
Well, it looks beautiful! I can't wait to see it with all you decorating expertise. The biggest plus is you no longer have crazy Davis relatives staying upstairs and moving tons of stuff around. HEHEHE! Good luck with everything, and post pictures when you get things decorated for those of us who live on the other side of the country.
YAYA!!! So jealous!! HOw exciting! I miss seeing you guys!! What a beautiful house. I hope one day we'll be able to visit! miss ya!

I almost didn't look at the pictures because I wanted a surprise. And then I couldn't handle the suspense anymore.
I can't wait to come and see it and get a tour and I would love to invite myself as an overnight guest. haha as a new homeowner you are free to veto with no hard feelings involved...haha
