On Monday I was in a car accident. I was driving home from work on 1860 S in Provo and my light turned green to go straight. I was about halfway into the intersection when I saw the white car coming. All I thought was " They are going to hit me." And sure enough!
She ran the red light and plowed into me going 45 mph. She didn't have her seat belt on and you can see where her head hit the windshield in the picture below.
Besides dealing with paperwork, a visit to the Instacare, my car being towed, and the other hassles that go along with an accident I am extremely lucky. You can see from the pictures that the car pretty much hit ME. My knee was pinned between the door and the steering wheel but that was the worst of my injuries. Cute bruise huh!
I am a little sore and have other cuts and bruises but, as I was reminded by almost everyone at work when I came back on Wednesday, I could have died. Instead of being mad, frustrated, etc. I am counting this as a little victory.

oh my gosh Nicole! I'm glad you're ok! How scary...it would make me even more of a paranoid driver than I already am! Hope you get your car back soon!
Hey Nicole! Wow I'm so glad to hear you're doing okay and hope you heal and feel good soon! Besides this accident, I hope you are having a great summer! I am hit and miss with the blogging but I saw on one of your posts that you're finishing your masters. You rock! Was it much better than the El Ed program?
