This weekend we hiked Angel's Landing at Zion. We drove down Friday night and stayed at Dan's grandma's house and then met my mom and her fiancee Jay on Saturday morning in the park. We got there at about 7:30 and it was still cold in canyon. Here is Angel's Landing from the base:

The first part of the hike isn't too bad it is mostly long semi steep switch backs. You go through some really pretty canyon and then get to Walt's Wiggles which are shorter steeper switch backs

At the top of Walt's Wiggles it gets a little scary. You can see our path (this is actually going back) it is a straight drop down on each side and you hold onto chains as you go along. We don't have too many pictures of that area since we were concentrating on our footing.

This is us on the top! the view was beautiful but it was also just fun to be together. Believe it or not, going down was way harder then going up.

We had so much fun and glad that we were invited down!
Today we finally gave our house the good cleaning it needed and we can start fresh this upcoming week. We were also given another calling in church. We are now primary teachers. Luck us though we don't have any primary aged kids! Basically we don't know what we are going to be doing but it should be fun. Katie and Riley came over tonight and we had a fantastic dessert and game night. We are glad they are back and can't wait to hang out more! As much as I hate the up coming cold I am glad for the fall. It just feels good to have everyone back!
