Christmas Vacation
We had a fabulous Christmas break. We were able to go down to AZ after Christmas. It was a beautiful 70 degrees and sunny. My mom cooked a ton and I definitely gained weight but it was worth it. We also did a lot of shopping and hung out with my siblings. After a few days there we went to LV to celebrate New Years. Dan's uncle threw a Rock Band Party complete with lights and smoke! It was really fun and a great way to start the new year. We were able to play with Dan's cousins and go Frisbee golfing with his family. The weather was so good and we were very sad to wake up to a ten degree day today.
We came home on Saturday thinking that we would be able to settle in and get ready for the next week. We were putting away Christmas decorations and I noticed this:
The ceiling was steadily dripping and the carpet was wet. We don't know how long the toilet upstairs had been leaking but it was soaked. We found the leak and then talked to Dan's Grandad to figure out what to do. We had someone come look at it and we are very glad we did. He found way more moisture than we thought and cut out a huge whole in our ceiling. He put a fan on it and then is going to come back and cut more. It will probably take a few days to dry so for now we have a large whole, loud fan, and annoying ladder in our living room:
At least there wasn't more damage! I hope everyone's new year started a little better than ours!

We had this problem as well in our house just about a week ago. We were lucky though. Jeremy noticed it right away. We have a small hole and are drying it out right now until we can patch it up. We were also able to fix the leak in the toilet. I feel for you guys.
Holy Moly!! That sure is a way to start out the New Year. Sorry guys!!! P.S. I am at my first day of work for reals! It is wierd. Anyways, how is your new job going thus far?! Oh, and - Let's play soon!!
Wow that stinks! My house in Houston sometimes leaks when we have heavy rainfall sometimes. It's awful...
And thanks for your comment about the hair. Haha.. "Boys are stupid." I don't know exactly how short yet. I'm just nervous it won't look well with my face shape. EHhhh.. Whatever, it will grow back right? Oh and you were missed at Katie's wedding. I love you!
That does not look like too much fun. Hopefully it's fixed by now! Sounds like you guys had a fun Christmas break! Miss ya!
