So long September!

We've had a beautiful fall. The weather has been really nice and we are mostly adjusted to the school routine. We got to have a few visitors come up this month and I was able to take a trip down to AZ.  Camden is still doing well in school and really enjoys it. Wes is loving some one on one time but still asks for his brother when we leave drop off.
We finished the last of our home renovations this month. The kitchen was not the biggest undertaking but took quite some time and probably has the biggest impact in my mind.

Done!

The transition to school every day has been equally enjoyable and rough on both Camden and I. I hadn't realized how nice it was to wake up and determine our schedule based on the varying moods in our house. Luckily, Camden still likes school and we haven't been late once yet! I'm the room mom this year and  I go in and help with small groups once a week. It's fun to see Camden in another environment.

I think we more fully appreciate our Saturdays now!

This is the boy's new favorite spot at Great Grandma's house

This one is fun, too.

Camden actually really enjoys his home work

Dan's work party this year was an L-3 Lagoon Day. Camden was so excited!
First big roller coaster

I was pretty nervous for this

Writing letters in their post office

Dan ushered in the Halloween season with these sugary treats!

Wes is my little helper a lot of days now

Some home made Halloween decor

A little vintage find from AZ

They got a few surprises when I got home

I love how much both my boys love books

Camden reads to Wesley pretty often now and it kills me every time!

Wes wore his super hero glove to match mine

Visiting the farm with Dad
Dan and I celebrated our first date 12 years ago! This time we brought along the boys for donuts!

This is Camden's happy place.. Surrounded by tons of little Lego pieces!
We are currently working on some Halloween costumes and getting everything decorated and ready. Each time it's chilly out Camden reminds me that it means Halloween is getting closer! I'm looking forward to some lazy fall break mornings!

I never tire of looking at the pictures you post, Nicole. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Wes is so blessed to have such a great big brother, and Camden is blessed to have such a fun little brother. And they are both blessed to have such great parents.
