Easter and a quick trip

We had such a fun Easter with these boys. They were pretty excited to collect eggs! We went to the neighborhood hunt which is always kind of crazy. There are a million eggs and a million kids.

Their favorite part
Camden has liked dying eggs in the past but I was surprised at how much Wesley enjoyed it, too.

We made our traditional resurrection/empty tomb rolls. They are pretty delicious and I decided we need to make them more than once a year.

The Easter bunny left them some pretty good stuff

It was too chilly for a hunt outside so the Easter bunny hid all the eggs inside for us. I think he preferred it that way too.

Happy Easter!
We had another hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Davis' house and the boys were pros by this point.

Love these boys!

Spring in Utah keeps alternating between one sunny day and six cold ones. It was taking it's toll and we were going stir crazy even though we were doing our best to stay entertained.

Mouse Ears live on!
Finally we had to get out and we took a quick trip to St. George.
Surprised and happy!

Tacos in the sunshine!

Wesley loved the hotel phone
We drove out to see the dinosaur tracks at Warner Valley and it was an all around hit.

Next stop was Thunder Junction park!

They had an actual little train to ride and the boys were so excited. Their favorite parts were the tunnels.

Our highlight of the trip was swimming. Wes still talks about the pool and Camden says he wants to go back and stay in the same exact hotel.

Wes crashed after swimming and Dan and Camden explored a little desert house.

They're on top of that bluff

We were all happy to be back home in our own rooms and beds but the weather at home was rainy and cloudy and made us all want to turn back around! We only have three more weeks of school and and I can't believe Camden will be done with Preschool for good! Both these boys are in such fun phases. Wes loves light sabers and "sighting" (fighting) and loves all things Lego just like his brother! Camden is reading so well and is becoming quite the ham. We love them!
