the swim shorts

About a year ago Dan and I were getting ready to go on some vacation (I think Havasupi but I could be wrong) and Dan was looking for his favorite swim shorts and could not find them. We scoured the house, literally every room every drawer and every closet and could not find them. Next, we called my mom's house, my dad's house, and Dan's uncle's in Vegas all to see if we had left the shorts there. I made my sister check every bathroom and laundry room in both houses just to have her turn up empty. Dan was so sad that he waited until the day we left on our trip to buy new shorts. We had a fabulous vacation but he was still sad about them when we got home. Well, lately I have been getting really antsy because I need a change, in something, I didn't really care what but something needed to be different! As most of you know our house can't really be rearranged too much but I came up with a plan to get more space and a change so we brought the last of the spare beds upstairs and created a "dressing/laundry room." Guess what we found underneath the dresser at the end of our move:The infamous swim shorts! Dan was so happy! And so was I because now our room feels a million times bigger, I have a sweet dressing room, and I got to change something!
I only took a picture of the clean side but all the room is missing is nice ottoman in the middle for putting on shoes! (Notice the awesome Charles Barkley, Indiana, and Michael Jordan posters. This is definitely not just a girls dressing room!)

Just so you know, Nicole.. I was inspired by your post about Dan's shorts and decided to look behind some dressers and storage bins for my favorite running tank top that has been MISSING for way too long. And guess what? I found it. Thanks for your inspiration! And for going out to icecream the other night! Too fun! We'll have to play again soon!
