We drove down on Wednesday. Although the drive is a ridiculous nine hours, I still love it. I just like seeing it get warmer and more familiar. I never thought the desert was pretty when we would make these drives when I was a kid but now it reminds me that I am going home and I love it!
Saturday, we took my mom out to breakfast for Mother's day at Crackers! Oh my goodness it was so good! Afterward we met up with Tara and saw Earth. It was so good to see her! I dropped Dan off at the house to watch some basketball and then went shopping with the girls! We got to meet Ashley's new boyfriend for dinner. Cori was doing a photography project and asked me to turn her and Tres into zombies.
Sunday, we aquired some terra cotta pots from my mom (I always leave with more than I bring!) and just hung out. We played a ton of games with my dad and Julie. I pretty much lost at everything but one round of Clue but it was still so fun. We finally packed up (if I didn't have to be at work tomorrow we may not have) and got some sleep for the drive today. Now we are in Flagstaff and adjusting to the idea of cold. We heard it snowed and we are not looking forward to what we are coming back to!

Hey, guys. I read your update before the photos, so I guess the addition of the photos means you made it back safely! Again, it was great to have you down here. Keep us update on the internship.
I love it Nicole! It makes me want to go home. Bad. And I am the EXACT same way about the desert scenery...but as I drive or fly into Arizona and see it get more and more brown...home. I love it! And now you're back, I need to see you!
